“ Brilliant service. Awesome menu and food. Dog friendly in the outside area which was great. Deffo coming back here! ”
“ Amazing cafe and little farm shop. Top cakes choices which look lovely and cheese from the Snowdonia cheese company. Offers are on for afternoon tea, cake and hot drink or a takeaway cake deal. I would highly recommend the breakfast as it was to die for. One of the best ever. Proper local sausages and bacon. Probably the 2nd best sausage I have had at any farm shop. Lovely flavour and proper pork. Also all 3 ladies of staff were lovely and had a good chat with us. Will be back soon! ”
“ Well established Cafe and Farm Food Shop carrying a limited but top quality range of food products sourced where possible from the local area. Excellent hot and cold drinks as well as freshly made snacks on offer in the cafe. Dogs not allowed inside as there is an open kitchen. However there is ample outside seating - just with out for rainy weather! ”
“ This is the most quaint prettiest local place I have been to! What a gorgeous find! Cannot believe it’s been on my doorstep all this time! Spacious interiors and cosy theme, plenty of cakes and fresh produce and jam jars and sauces it’s such fun to look at! It was fantastic weather today so we sat outside, plenty of seating. Very lovely views of the countryside. Staff are ever so friendly and helpful! Loved the fact they do all day breakfast on a Sunday! Food was absolutely delicious!! Top breakfast I say!! They even made provisions my friend’s baby who came too! Lovely run business and will definitely come again! ”
“ Firstly, having read a few reviews on here, can I say this: I have been in the cafe when groups or individual cyclists enter; and as a cyclist myself, I also drive; the owner(s) share my own attitude towards the cycling fraternity.....MANY, not all, can be a nuisance. It just annoys me that when a motorist, impatient motorist, tried to get past me in July 2021, not 1.0 kms up the road from this cafe - where the road is not wide enough for a car to safely pass - sideswiped me causing me to fall into the road. The result was a two month hospital stay, of which 20 days were spent in a Coma. Just a few months later, the Highway Code was updated to as it is today....to late in my case!!! But back to the cycling fraternity - it frustrates me as a driver when I get held up behind a strung out line of cyclists, seemingly oblivious or simply uncaring of a car or cars behind them. Cycle closer together as a short bunch is a shorter obstacle for a car to get around Enough of cyclists. I also read that individuals consider the owners 'racist'; pretty typical attitude of someone who is 'not white' calling out the racist label. The owners are entirely NOT racist, and yes they do have to ask if a table had been booked because they have to give/keep priority for people that have booked a table. And no it isn't a Michelin Star establishment.....I have been in there when people have been turned away or asked to sit outside. Get over yourselves, and enjoy this place and surroundings, and above all - the cooking and pretty amazing cakes, and you must give their scones a try.....truly gorgeous. ”
“ We were served promptly and the breakfast s were cooked to perfection. Lovely banter with the lady owner when we were paying. We will be returning ”
“ Hands down one of the best afternoon teas we have ever had, the staff were so friendly and made the experience so special. Really relaxed venue making the whole afternoon just really nice. I can't wait to come back ”
“ We popped into the farm shop as we wanted to have a little look around. We’ve developed a bit of a love for local farm shops. This was our first time to the Fir Tree farm shop. There’s plenty of parking available, a small shop available and larger cafe offering food and afternoon teas. In the shop there’s a hot snack counter, cakes, bread, chutneys, fresh produce and more. We picked up a loaf of bread and a couple of cakes to go. I had a lemon muffin which was pretty sizeable! I can see this being a great little stop off if you’re visiting Trench Woods, just up the road, for a walk. ”
